Stand Up To Cancer was created to rally Americans around a simple goal to end cancer’s reign as a leading cause of death through awareness and fundraising efforts.  Monies raised through advanced donations, the primetime special and subsequent fundraising efforts will be administered through the prestigious American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), in a new model designed to target projects with the greatest promise of getting new therapies to patients quickly.
