A new paper from the Battelle Technology Partnership Practice, and supported by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), underscores our sector’s tremendous contribution to America’s economy. For example, the biopharmaceutical sector supported a total of 4 million jobs in 2009, including nearly 675,000 direct jobs.  The report also sheds light on the potential consequences of policy proposals such as government-mandated price controls in Medicare Part D.
