For the first time, the Amgen Foundation Contributions Report is available exclusively online, including interactive stories and videos of nonprofit organizations supported by the Amgen Foundation that have raised the bar on the services and education provided in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Europe.
This video of the Amgen-Bruce Wallace Biotechnology Program is one example of the many outstanding stories of organizations and programs making a difference. Introduced in 1990 by Bruce Wallace, a molecular biologist and one of Amgen's first staff members, the program brings the excitement of real-world, hands-on, inquiry-based molecular biology to middle schools, high schools, and community colleges.

Since 1991, the Amgen Foundation has contributed more than $160 million in grants in three areas of focus: science education, patient care and access, and vital community resources. Amgen is committed to making a difference by dramatically improving people’s lives, and so too are Amgen staff members. Through contributions of monetary resources, time, and talent to charitable organizations that align with Amgen’s vision, Amgen staff members are doing their part to create stronger and more vital communities.
