Amgen Binding Corporate Rules

Amgen Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) are internal rules that Amgen implemented to allow compliant transfers of personal data within the Amgen group in accordance with the EU Directive.

In June 2016, Amgen BCRs were approved by the EEA Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) led by the CNIL, the French DPA, after Amgen demonstrated that it had adequate processes and safeguards in place  protecting personal data throughout the organization.

Amgen entities, regardless of their location in the world, are committed to protecting all personal data entrusted to Amgen by any individual (e.g. Amgen's employees, healthcare professionals, clinical trial participants, patients, individual vendors, web users).

Amgen BCRs play an important role in enabling Amgen to conduct business ethically and ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations while supporting Amgen's mission to serve patients.
