Amgen Announces Webcast of Conference Call to Provide Financial Guidance for 2004

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Dec. 1 -- Amgen (Nasdaq: AMGN), the world's largest biotechnology company, today announced that it would provide financial guidance for 2004 on a conference call with the investment community on Monday, December 15, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. PST.

Participating in the call from Amgen will be Kevin Sharer, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President, and other members of Amgen's senior management.

Live audio of the conference call will be simultaneously broadcast over the Internet and will be available to members of the news media, investors and the general public. The conference call is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
