Amgen Named Among “World’s Greenest Companies” by Newsweek

Amgen has been recognized on Newsweek's 2025 list of the World's Greenest Companies, a global ranking of 750 publicly listed organizations driving environmental sustainability.

Amgen's placement on this list reflects the meaningful progress made toward the company's 2027 environmental sustainability goals.

A key driver behind this progress is Amgen's Engineering and Operations and Process Development teams, whose innovations in facility design and process efficiency have helped reduce environmental impact across the company's global footprint.

Notable examples include Amgen's latest, cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Ohio—built faster and more efficiently than traditional facilities, with smaller environmental footprints and the scalability to support continued growth and patient needs.

Developed in collaboration with GIST Impact and Plant-A Insights Group, Newsweek's World's Greenest Companies rankings are evaluated across four key areas: greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, waste generation, and sustainability disclosures.
