What is AmgenNow?

AmgenNow is a program that makes certain Amgen medicines available directly to patients at a discounted monthly price. This program may benefit patients who are uninsured, in high-deductible health plans or prefer to pay with cash or out-of-pocket. We plan to make other medicines available through the program in the future.

Which medicines are available through AmgenNow?

At the time, Repatha® (evolocumab) is available through the program. Other medicines may be available in the future.

Why is this program launching now?

Amgen is committed to adding new and affordable ways for patients to access Repatha®. This program will enhance access for patients who do not have insurance or prefer to pay out-of-pocket for their prescription.

How will I get my medicines?

We are partnering with established digital healthcare companies to deliver Repatha® through AmgenNow.

How do I know if I am eligible for the program?

  • The AmgenNow program and patient discount coupon are open to all U.S. patients with a valid qualifying prescription of Repatha®, including those who are uninsured or in high-deductible health plans or prefer to pay with cash or out-of-pocket.
  • This option will be available to all patients regardless of their insurance status, including those who participate in government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Prior authorization and step therapy is not required if a patient utilizes the discount coupon with a valid qualifying prescription of Repatha®.
  • To participate in this program, patients must agree that they are not using commercial or government insurance to obtain Repatha® and will not attempt to claim or submit any costs associated with their Repatha® prescription to their insurer.

How can I access the cash-pay option?

The patient presents the discount coupon available here, which includes a comprehensive list of participating pharmacies and pays the cash-pay amount for their prescription.
